May 28 - June 1 SHOWCASE WEEK -Please keep the dates of May 28 - June 1 on hold! There will be a required dress rehearsal time slot for each class on the stage and that rehearsal is mandatory. That rehearsal will take place some time between May 28 and June 1. The dancers get a feel for what it’s like to be on the stage and teachers can answer any questions about costumes, etc before the big day. Your dancer will dance in one (or more shows depending on how many classes they are enrolled in) on May 20 June 1. That schedule will be released after Spring Break. Thank you for holding the dates of May 28 - June 1!

Welcome to our 2023 Holiday Show Off/Live on stage visitor’s week! Thank you all so much for your continued support!  Below you will find some very important information regarding our show off this year. Attached is the "what to wear" for each class! Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions! The final line ups are attached as well. We know you will enjoy seeing this first performance of the season!

Our showoff will be held at the Rock Family Worship Center in the DREAM THEATER: Building E!

Monday, October 23: Disney Day! Dress up as your favorite Disney character or wear your favorite Halloween costume! 

Tuesday, October 24: Neon Day! Wear your favorite Neon colors and Let's Glow! Or wear your favorite Halloween costume!

Wednesday, October 25: PJ Day! Wear your favorite PJ's to dance or your favorite Halloween costume!

Thursday, October 26: Princesses and Princes, Kings and Queens! Dress as your favorite regal character or wear your favorite Halloween Costume!

What to wear: Dancers should be audition ready in jazz clothes. Please have hair secured out of face and audition ready make up on. Dancers should wear leggings, hot shorts, leotard or dance top. Colors are great! Convention jazz audition attire is perfect! No baggy tee shirts or tops. If you are unsure what to wear, we will discuss at the parent meeting.

**Dancers should bring ballet, jazz and tap shoes. Do not worry if you have not taken ballet or tap, don’t let that discourage young dancers.

Any dancers taking advanced company level classes should plan to attend the auditions/leveling even if they are not auditioning for the company teams. We will get to see the kids in all styles and will place them in their class levels for the Fall 2023. As always if dancers progress over the Summer, things can change!

Save the dates of April 10-15 for Picture Week! Dancers will take a group photo for each class that is performing in the showcase. All classes will meet very close to their weekly class times for a class and individual pictures in their showcase costumes. Individual photos and package information will be sent out prior to picture week!

The studio will follow the Huntsville City Schools calendar and be closed for all classes during Spring Break the week of March 13th to March 17th.
